The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has selected Washington Technology Group as the prime partner in planning their system wide upgrade. The target solution will deploy Windows 2000 and Microsoft Exchange 2000 to expand current services and features. Washington Technology Group was selected to engineer, furnish, and install, Windows 2000 as the dominant server and desktop operating system across the FEMA enterprise. Washington Technology Group's selection as the prime contractor is based on their ability to manage the significant architectural, maintenance and procedural changes inherent in migrating existing desktops and network operating systems. In this application the Washington Technology Group exploits the Windows 2000 Active Directory architecture by merging the global address list into Windows 2000's Global Catalog.
