PROJECT #1
WTG Wins Contract To Manage Consolidated Telephone Operations At Lackland AFB Annex,
Port San Antonio, San Antonio, TX.
WTG will manage telephone business systems equipment and switchboards to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. Provide information to callers; arrange conference calls and record messages.
PROJECT #2
WTG wins a $14.1 Million contract with The Department of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces
The Department of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) awarded WTG a contract for Network management support of the Hickam Base Area Network (HBAN) and Classified Base Area Network (CBAN) for system operations and maintenance of the Hickam AFB Local Area Network (LAN).
Recently WTG telephone operators received awards for outstanding teamwork supporting the
Consolidated Telephone Operations contract at Lackland AFB Annex, Port San Antonio, San Antonio, TX.
Thomas Garcia and Javier Ramos, WTG employees along with Brenda Dominguez (DAVetTechs) were
presented “Air Force Coins” by Lieutenant Cornel Michael Moyes and Acting Chief, Mark Rittenberry
for their cohesive handling of a caller presenting a threat to the President. In presenting the award,
Lieutenant Cornel Moyer commented that the Air Force’s mission primarily focuses on dropping bombs
and hitting targets to keep us safe and most of the time it hard to see how a telephone operator
contributes to that mission. In this case, however, when there was a threat to the president, our crew
did exactly what they needed to do to help keep us all safe.
WTG’s President and CEO Rodney Hawkins provided bonus cash awards to WTG and DAVetTech (subcontractor) employees for a job well done!
